Dr. Yi Chen
- Dr. Chen currently oversees corporation wide procurement system development and implementation. She is responsible for sourcing supplies, forecasting inventory requirements, and assessing risk for procurement projects of major hotel brands. Built on strong vendor relationships, she is able to identify areas to cut cost and achieved cost savings. Following every steps of the project, she uses various procurement reporting tool to review and track process and spending against approved request.
- Dr. Chen has more than 10 years research and project management experience in hospitality, with demonstrated ability in communicating with clients, maintaining client relationship, training and assigning tasks, monitoring budget, leading field trips, analyzing data, writing reports, and preparing presentations to clients.
- Dr. Chen received her P.H.D. from Purdue Hospitality and Tourism Management in 2013. Her research focuses on Hospitality Marketing & Consume Behavior and Psychology.
